2nd Chance, Inc. is a non-profit 501 c (3) organization that assists victims of domestic and sexual violence. 2nd Chance has operated the Joy Kathryn Courtney House emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence since 1990. The organization's mission is to provide safe shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic and sexual violence and offer educational outreach to the community and to create awareness of and strengthen the movement to end this violence.
